IDW: ACCOUNT MANAGER

We're looking for an Account Manager with an innate ability for guiding the work and being the bridge between the client and the studio. You think proactively about how to improve the process at every step. We’re looking for someone who can understand the client’s situation and challenges and leverage this knowledge to think strategically about the business and steward the work and client relationship.


You know the ins and outs of agency/studio process and client management and have had success in building relationships with both clients and internal partners. A desire for making great work is at your core, while you are equally interested in the process and business management of an engagement. You are looking for growth opportunities, always eager to jump in, and embrace and manage change at every turn.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day image and creative services for key client
  • Lead meetings with internal teams and client(s) and collaborate on the work status, timeline and budget
  • Monitor and support performance of colleagues and internal project timelines
  • Generate accurate reports and status notifications for manager & client
  • Manage overall budget with manager and accountant, including monthly billings
  • Collaborate with Executive Producer and Production Manager on client-related photography & video initiatives
  • Identify growth areas in client relationships (new projects, better margins), including fresh and innovative ideas  involving design, imagery, and video
  • Develop best practices for IDW project and image library account management including workflow, templates

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
  • Solid background in advertising, design or marketing, with commercial photography and video experience 
  • Persuasive and confident approach to creative projects including excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • Keen attention to detail and budget management
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
  • Natural ability to think strategically and to develop ideas
  • Ability to work as a leader and collaborative member of a busy and multi-disciplinary team
